Madd.nes Productions was set up by Tom back in 2024 as a collaboration of a few close friends to document the lives and stories of local people. The North East of England is home to us and we are passionate about not only the history of the area but also the people that lived and moulded it for future generations.

Below is our latest production trailer titled "Len" it documents the life of a 92-year-old North East ex-miner, union man, councillor and family man. The video takes us through his childhood, his marriage, the life of a coal miner, poverty, the laughter and tears, his work in the unions and as councillor and is told in his own words. 

The video will be released in 2026, currently Tom's company 'Madd.nes Productions' are busy editing and looking for funding to release the work. For now here's a trailer for the movie.
